CHURCH CONCERT

A splendid concert was given last evening in the Papakura Methodist Hall by members of the Clevedon Presbyterian Bible Class, assisted by members of the Papakura Presbyterian Bible Class. The Rev. R. R. Greenwood presided. A member of the Turakina Presbyterian Maori Mission School thanked the bible classes and the audience for their kindness in helping to raise funds for a library in the new college. The proceeds were deyoted to this work. The following contributed items: Miss Helen Bell, Miss Jessie McCullough, Miss Mollie McPherson, Miss Phyllis Silk. Miss M. Dow, Miss C. Farrar, Miss J. McCullough, Messrs. A. Atcheson, R. C. Garlick, and J. Bell; dialogue, Papakura Bible Class; quartette, Clevedon Bible Class; Maori poi dance, Turakina school students.

The concert closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the Clevedon Bible Class members. Supper was served by the Papakura. Bible Class members.
