MUNICIPAL CHOIR

TOWN HALL ON SATURDAY A fine programme has been arranged for the Municipal Choir concert in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. The choir, which is making its first appearance for the present season, will sing Cesar Franck’s 150th Psalm, the charming “Faery Chorus” from Rutland Boughton’s “Immortal Hour’ ; the old English air. “Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes”; and works by Mendelssohn, Wilbye, and Benedict. The assisting artists will include Miss Mina Caldow, vocalist. Miss Molly Wright, the English ’cellist, and Mr. Maughan Barnett, city organist. The organ accompaniment will be played by Mr. Edgar Randal, and Mr Leo Whittaker [will be at the piano.
