RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE 13TH JUROR” “The Thirteenth Juror,” a dramatic story of a murder trial, will be shown to-night at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatre. The story concerns the love of a successful barrister naijied Lesmond for Helen Marsden, whose husband is accused of murder. How Lesmond
handles the jury in an effort to prove the innocence of Marsden is one of the most dramatic sequences of the picture. After failing to acquit Marsden, the attorney declares that he himself committed the murder, but % the officials think i
he has lost his mind, and refuse to believe him. Through a clever hoax, however, Lesmond produces evidence which proves his guilt, and the picture culminates in a thrilling climax of friendliness and love. The work of Francis X. Bushman, Anna Q. Nilsson, and Walter Pidgeon is remarkable. “The Heart of a Follies Girl,” the second feature, stars Billie Love in a picture of the love of a little dancer in the Follies show.
