KINGSTON—HORNE
A pretty wedding took place at St. Paul’s Church, Ohakune, on Alonday, when Constance Amy Kingston, second daughter of Air. and Mrs. A. J. Kingston, of Loch Lomond, Scotland, was married to David John Horne, eldest son of Air. and Mrs. C. P. Horne, of Ohakune. The Rev. Paterson, M.A., officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. A. J. Kingston, Wanganui, wore a champagne georgette frock trimmed with hand-made lace. Her handsome veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bridesmaids were Miss Elsie Horne, sister of the bridegroom, and Aliss Aluriel Newling. The former wore a frilled frock of powder blue crepe de chine and fawn crinoline hat trimmed with blue velvet'ribbon and flower. The latter wore a frock of bois de rose crepe de chine and a fawn crinoline hat trimmed with bois de rose velvet ribbon and flower. All*. D. P. Kingston was best man. After the ceremony the guests were received by Airs. C. P. Horne, who wore a frock of navy charmaline trimmed with grey crepe de chine, and a grey felt hat, at the Victoria League Rooms. Airs. A. Abernethy, who played tR? wedding march at the church, also accompanied songs sung by Alessrs. Hines and Clapham. The guests present were: Mr. H. P. Horne, Air. and Airs. F. T. Horne, Air. Airs, and Aliss Croad, All*, and Airs. Brown, Airs. Wotton, Jack and William Wotton, Aliss Jackson, Aliss Robb, Air. and Airs. A. Abernethy, Air. Reid, Mr. O’Connpr, Air. Clapham, Air. Hines and Air. Evans. The newly-married couple left for New Plymouth and Auckland for their honeymoon, the bride wearing a tailored costume, and a fawn coat with stone marten furs and fawn felt hat.
