ROYAL, KINGSLAND

“PRIVATE AFFAIRS” “The Whip Woman,” starring Antonio Moreno and Estelle Taylor, will be shown at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, this evening. “The Whip Woman” is a story of Hungarian life, and tells of a peasant girl who keeps all male admirers at bay with a 20-foot bull whip, until she falls in love with a dissolute nobleman, played by Antonio Moreno. “Private Affairs,” the second feature on the programme, is a story of the consternation in a small town when a bundle of letters which had been lost for five years was found and delivered. Gladys Hulette, John Agnew and Mildred Harris are the leading players in this comedy.
