CLEARING STOCK SALES
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Hamilton, held clearing sales on Monday on account of Mr. Walter Cate at Rototuna, and also on account of Mr. E. E. Rushbrook, Te Mawhai, when the live and dead stock at each fixture realised satisfactory prices. Best dairy cows made from £lO to £l4; others, £6 to £9; springing Jersey heifers, £7 5s to £8; pedigree Jersey heifers, £7 5s to £8; pedigree Jersey heifers, 21 i guineas; farm horses, £25 to £27 3 os.
