INTERNATIONAL SIGNS
Universal adoption of a standardised system of road signals and warning signs, as distinct from the present more or less chaotic and confusing method of procedure, is the recommendation of the League of Nations’ permanent committee on road traffic, contained in the report of the fifth session. This recommendation has been sent to the various Governments for comment and subsequent ratification.
