LICENSEES WARNED
AFTER-HOUft TRADING MUST^CEASE MAGISTRATE'S STRAIGHT TALK (From. Our Oi on Correspondent) OPOTIKI, Monday. A straight-out warning that if the systematic afte/r-hour trading could be proved licences of offenders would be endorsed witfciout hesitation was given by the chair?man, Mr. E. C. Levvey, S.M., at the aaanual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Licjemsing Committee. This action -would be taken, he added, if convictions were entered on charges pending in respect of two Opotiki hotels.
Applications for licences, renewals and transfers were granted.
