MAN MISSING

POLICE DRAG RIVER POSSESSIONS FOUND ON BANK CSpccial to THE SUX) FUTARURU, Monday. Thomas Manning, who has been residing with his son-in-law at Putaruru, has been missing from his home since Saturday. The last that was seen of the missing man was on the bank of the Orakau Stream. His waiking-stiek and tobacco pouch were found on the bank of the stream and marks on the bank indicated that he had fallen into the river.

The Putaruru police are dragging the river, but as yet no trace of the missing man has been discovered.
