TWO GIRLS BURN HOUSE
YOUNG MAORIS’ CRIME Press Association. GISBORNE, To-day. Two Maori girls aged 13 and 17 admitted, in tho Child Welfare Court, that they had wilfully burned a fiveroomed house at Ruatoria belonging to the father of the younger girl. The magistrate committed the younger girl to the care of the Child Welfare Department, the elder being admitted to probation.
