NOT ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
MAGISTRATE DISMISSES CHARGE Press AssociatioJi. INVERCARGILL, Sunday. George Smith, a labourer, aged 48 years, who was found on the steps of the police station at 6 a.m. on June 2 with wounds on his neck and wrist appeared before a magistrate on Saturday charged with attempted suicide. The magistrate said there was no evidence to support conviction, and dismissed, tfie charge.
