RIALTO AND REGENT. EPSOM
“SHARPSHOOTERS” “Sharpshooters.” starring George O’Brien and Lois Moran, is the first feature on the programme now being shown at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres. The story concerns the love of a little French girl, * Lois Moran, who falls in love with George O’Brien, an American sailor, in Morocco, and follows him to New York'. Finding the sailor has forgotten her, she gets work as a dancer. A tremendous climax comes when George cleans out the entire gang at the dance hall on discovering that the liquor king has fallen in ‘ love with Lois. A detachment of sailors marches into the hall, and in a hand-to-hand battle cleans up the joint, with George as the leader, who has finally realised his own seriousness for the French girl. The second feature stars Fred Thompson in “Jesse James,” the story of a modem Robin Hood.
