RAILWAY SERVANT RETIRES
PRESENTATION TO MR. A. BECK A large number of employees of the Newmarket Railway Workshop met to bid farewell to Mr. A. Beck, leading trimmer, who retired from the service on Saturday after completing: 4<> years* service. Mr. Williams, tin foreman painter, presented Mr. Beck with a gold watch and another one for Mrs. Beck. Mr. Beck has been a very active member in various societies, during the past 30 years, and many eulogistic references were made to his services to various organisations connected with tho railw
