Round the Churches
Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral to-morrow morning when Canon Percival James -will be the preacher. He will also take the service in the evening, preaching on “Religion and Politics.” After the service Mr. Edgar Randal will give an organ recital including “Andante in F and Grand Chorus’’ (Guilmaht), “Chant Pastorale,” “In Paradise” (Dubois), and “Intermezzo” (Rheinberger). * * * The Rev. Charles Chandler, assistant City Missiorer, will conduct the morning service at St. Matthew’s, Wellesley Street. Canon Grant Cowen will be the preacher in the evening.. * * * A baptismal font will be unveijed and dedicated at the Edendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow afternoon, “Come to Churcb” campaign at Somervell Church Remuera, will be continued. * * * The Associated Churches of Christ meet to-morrow at Ponsonby Road, Dominion Road, Onehunga, Richmond. Avondale, Devonport, Point Chevalier and Mount Albert. • • • At 3 o’clock to-morrow Mr. R. A. Laidlaw will continue his special addresses at the Unity Hall, Upper Queen Stree". The question of “Future Rewards and Punishments” will be dealt with by th Mater at the Spiritual Scientists’ Churcn to-morrow evening. -* * * Mr. S. Goodman will speak on “Life” at the Progressive Spiritualists’ Church, Newmarket, at 7 p.m. to-morrow. * * * “The Principle of Prosperity and Happiness” will be explained by Nurse Clayton at the evening service of the Spiritualists’ Church, 1.0.0. F Hall, Pitt Street, to-morrow. * * * The usual services of the First Church of Christ. Scientist, wil lbe held in the Church Hall, Symonds Street, to-morrow. * * * The Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will conduct both services of the Methodist Central Mission to-morrow. Miss Phillis Abel, of New* Guinea, is to speak at the morning service of the j Grange Road Baptist Church, to-morrow.
