Anderson and the Hon. J. A. Hanan attended the bowls test match at Highgate, New Zealand versus England. New Zealand started well, and led in five ends 24—16, but in ten ends England had the lead of 51—44, and at 15 76 —71.
England won by 110 to 197. Rink Results. —Horton <New Zealand) lost to Carruthers (England), 14 —3O; Grant drew with Bull. 17—17; Parker bent Alexander, 21 —20; Thomson lost to Wright, 20—23; Sole beat .Jones, 25—20.
