THAMES OLD GIRLS’ EFFORTS The Thames Old Girls’ Association held a successful jumble sale in the Airedale Street Mission Hall on Tuesand as a result £lO was given to St. John Ambulance, and £l6 to social workers in the city, for the winter fuel fund. At a meeting this week the members of the association arranged to take the whole responsibility for refreshment rooms at the coming Jasper Calder fair, under the supervision of Mrs. Black.
