“A HIGH SCHOOL HERO” “High School Hero.” featuring Sally Phipps and Nick Stuart, is now being shown at the Prince Edward Theatre. This picture is a fast-moving comedy-drama of the modern American youth. It shows this great American institution, the high school, as it is, full of clean life and fun. It revolves around t ie story of two boys who are rivals for the same girl and all of the intricacies involved in trying to win the girl. fcSallv Phipps gives a spirited performance as the flapper, and Nick Stuart and John Darrow give interesting portrayals as the rival boy friends. David Rollins is very convincing as the bashful scholar The question cf whether a pretty woman can get away with murder i* the theme of “The Woman on Trial,’ starring Pola Negri, which is also being shown
William Haines’s new starring picture tentatively titled “He Learned About Women,” has been finally titled “Telling the World.” Ann Page, a 17-year-old “discovery,” plays the leading feminine role, and Bert Roach, William V. Mong, and Clarence Lyle are included in the cast.
