HOMEWARD TREK
TRAINS WELL FILLED The homeward trek from Auckland set. in last evening. South-bound trains were filled to the last seat and four extra cars had to be placed on the second express for Wellington in order to cope with the demand for sfcats. Both the Limited and second expresses for this evening were almost booked up at an early hour this morning, and it is probable that more cars will be placed on the 7.45 express. Incoming trains were light, only a few passengers coming North after the holidays. _
