DESCENT IN FRANZ JOSEF LAND MESSAGE FROM MURMANSK (United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian P.A. —United Service) Reed. 9.10 a.m. MOSCOW, To-day. It is reported from Murmansk that the Obdorks wireless station last night picked up a message from the Italia, General Nobile’s airship, announcing a descent in Franz Josef Land. The trawler Loutchinski, off the Murmansk coast, also heard the calls, but was unable to pick up the actual communication, owing to unfavourable atmospherics.
