C. Walsh on the industrial laboratory. The speaker is an English consulting chemist, who has been engaged for some weeks in establishing a It.boratory for an Auckland business house. . Professor Worley, of the Aucklsna University College, occupied the chair. . Mr. Walsh declared that there wm an increasingly wide field awaiting tl* e chemist who added to his qualifiestions in pure science by experience of the practical aspect of the industry to which he intended to give his concentrated attention and energy.
