FROM PERSIAN SHEEP TO PILLOW SLIPS
CZECHO-SLOVAKIA’S NEEDS AGENCIES IN DOMINION Agencies for many things from “pure-blooded original Persian sheep” to “ornamental printed cot-ton-plush pillow slips,” are wanted in New Zealand and Australia by Czecho-Slovakia manufacturers. According to a letter received from the Czecho-Slovakian Consulate in Sydney by the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association that country is “desirous to be brought into touch with importers or agents” with a view to disposing of the following articles: Mother-of-pearl articles, such as buttons and buckles, textile cenille and knitted goods, table salt, medical plants, dried mushrooms, printed cotton materials, photographs, jute carpets, shirtings, breweries’ products, porcelain, precious stone imitations, telephones, marking-ink, glass-ware, musical instruments, shoes, sporting articles, ‘particularly football requisites,” and “renowned Prague export hams.” The letter was received.
