TE PUKE DANCES

HOCKEY CLUBS On Saturday evening' a dance was held at the Ladies’ Hockey Club, at Te Puke, Mrs. Granger being the hostess for the evening. A Monte Carlo Waltz was won by Miss Bell and Mr. R. Mollgaard. Extras were played by Misses F. King and E. Brown and Messrs. R. Mollgaard and F. Chapman. A very dainty supper was handed round. Amongst those present were:—Mesdames Grainger, Martyn, and Gibbings; Misses M. Bell, V. Noble, E. Brown, E. Mollgaard, J. Vercoe, F. King, U. Turner, C. Wilson, M. Morton and N. Muir.

The Te Puke High School Hockey Club dance was held last evening. Music was supplied by the Elite Orchestra. A very large number of dancers attended. Supper was provided by the club members.
