BURGLARS IN OAMARU

STRONGROOM BROKEN INTO Press Association OAMARU, Tuesday. ! During the week-end thieves entered the offices of Wright, Stephenson and Company and removed from the strongroom four cash-boxes, containing £IOO, and a number of cheques. The keys had been stolen from an attache case in the manager's car, which had been removed from his private garage after two o’clock on Sunday morning. The car was recovered at Hillgrove, 30 miles south of Oamaru, in a damaged condition. On Sunday night, while the occupants were at church, a private residence at Oamaru was entered and £|lo and some jewellery were stolen.
