CONGRATULATIONS
THE conferring of a knighthood on Sir George Fowlds was the subject of congratulatory remarks at the meeting of the Mount Albert Borough Council last evening. Councillors stated that one of the local ratepayers had been honoured, and spoke of Sir George’s services to the borough. It was decided to send a letter offering congratulations.
