INDUSTRIAL PEACE

LABOUR RALLIES FORCES AN APPEAL TO WOMEN (United P.A. — By Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian Press Association) LONDON, Monday. The following cable message from Mr. Tom Walsh to the Industrial Peace Union was received by the London headquarters this morning. It speaks for itself: “Received your last message. My statement on industrial peace will be issued in the Press this week. Mrs. Walsh proposes to organise a women’s branch. She would be assisted greatly if credentials can be sent from the English executive. The Australian Press will render every assistance.” The Australian Press Association understands that the English executive is favourable to the issue of credentials.
