TWO COLLISIONS
OTAHUHU ACCIDENTS (From Our Oven Correspondent) OTAHUHU. To-day. Two collisions occurred in Otahuhu last evening. Nobody was injured, although the cars were severely damaged. Early in the evening two cars collided on the Great South Road, opposite the Methodist Church, a five-seater and a service car being concerned. The former was driven by Mr. Goggan, and was returning from Papakura. After the collision it ran across the road and through the church fence. I None of the five occupants was injured. The car was extensively' damaged. Later in the evening two cars collided on the Tamaki Bridge. One, j owned by Mr. Gotland Percy Craig, of Whareora, Whar.garei South, was badly damaged, both front wheels being j smashed, and the radiator damaged. | The other car ’# rl a front axle strained, otherwise it escaped damage. I The Tamaki Bridge at present is in i a dangerous condition, and strong • representations have been made to tho ! Public Works Department and the Main Highways Board for a new up--1 to-date structure. All traffic on the ? South Road must pass this point.
