Yesterday the relatives of the late Mrs. Ernistina Mary Norgrov* waited on the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, and placed before him their opposition to the reprieve granted Allan George Nor* grove. On Saturday morning the Executive Council met and considered Norgrove’s case. As a result of the deliberations Norgrove’s death penalty was commuted to one of imprisonment for life.
