Leg Broken by Car. —A motor-car knocked down Mr. John Moore in Hobson Street, near the Trades Hall, about 5.30 last evening, and broke his right leg. The injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital. He lives at 6 Vincent Street. Wharf Labourer Hurt. —ln avoiding a baulk of timber which was being lowered in a sling into the hold of the Aorangi at Prince’s Wharf yesterday, John Squires bumped his head against an iron stanchion. He was taken to hospital by the St. Tohn Ambulance. He lives at 20 Cor nd Street, Eden Terrace.
