COUNTRY SELLING OF WOOL
(United P.A.— By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Saturday. The British Wool Federation has been informally discussing the question of country selling in Australia, and according to the Yorkshire “Post’s” Bradford correspondent, the opinion was expressed that most of the buyers will be accommodated if the growers send wool to the auctions, as the arrangement made for its subsequent shipment saves the buyers much time and trouble. It is, however. recognised that country selling will continue as long as there are growers in want of money, and the dealers are willing to pay satisfactory prices on the woolgrowers' doorstep, and at the same time take all the trouble of transport and shipment.
