LOWER BUTTER PRICES
EFFECT OF WARM WEATHER MORE SENT FROM EUROPE (United P.A.—-By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Saturday. The butter market is being affected by the more favourable weather conditions in Northern Europe, which is bringing production on rapidly. Denmark especially is turning out very large quantities. Ireland, Holland, Esthonia and Latvia are also increasing, so that it seems probable that the values of colonial butters will go lower for, though future arrivals from New Zealand will be comparatively small, the Australian imports will be on a large scale for some time. It is interesting to note that as a result of the heavy output from Denmark, the price of New Zealand butter is actually about Is above the price for Danish.
