AUSTRALIAN’S VISIT
TO U.S.A. “My object in going abroad is to interest American capitalists in Australia and New Zealand.” Mr. Raymond Levy, of the Weetou Company, Ltd., one of the best-kaowa Australian advertising agencies, is on his way to the United States on an important financial mission on behalf o£ Australian advertisers. It is his intention to spend at leas; 18 months abroad, and to address businessmen’s organisation, not only in tb* United States, but in Europe on tin possibilities for investment in Australia. and New Zealand. “We are aware that there is a good deal of ignorance, especially in America, in regard to these two countries,’’ said Mr. Levy, who also emphasised Australia’s keen desire to exploit the field of secondary industries. It was hoped, he said, as a result cf his advocacy, that certain factories and plants would be established in the Commonwealth.
