Child Breaks a Leg.—Mary Johnson, aged eight years, broke a leg and injured her head when she was knocked down by a motor-van driven by Mr. J. W. Lyons in Victoria Street, Hamilton, on Saturday. The child, who is a daughter of Mr. A. Johnson, of Pukemiro, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital and is progressing satisfactorily.
