CHINESE FINED £2O ORGANISED GANG AT WORK Press Association WELLINGTON, Saturday. A Chinese named Lee Sow was fined £2O in the Police Court to-day for remaining in the Dominion after the expiry of his temporary permit. Defendant had overstayed his leave by 21 months. “There is evidently an organised gang working these permits, for a large number here have overstayed their leave,” said the Collector of Customs.
