BRITANNIA
“THAT’S MY DADDY” “That’s My Daddy,” Reginald Denny’s latest comedy, which will be shown to-night at the Britannia Theatre, is a story of a little girl befriended by Denny in order to bluff a police officer. The trouble starts when Denny, stopped by a traffic inspector for speeding, says he is on his way to visit his daughter in the children’s hospital. The inspector follows him and in desperation Denny befriends a little girl who thinks he is her father whom she has never seen. The little child is acted by little Jane La Verne, a baby prodigy recently discovered by Denny himself, and the leading feminine players are Lilian Rich and Barbara Kent. The second attraction will be “The Golden Butterfly,” starring Lili Damita, the great Continental actress. “Chang,” a tremendously powerful picture of jungle life, will be shown at the Britannia next Wednesday.
