CARNIVAL HOCKEY
TOURNEY AT REMUERA SEVEN-ASIDE MATCHES AND ATHLETICS Satisfactory entries and keen competition favoured the Auckland Hockey Association’s King’s Birthday carnival, held at Remuera today. The programme comprised seven-a-sido hockey and athletic events. The grounds were in excellent order, and the programme was run off well up to schedule, under the control of an energetic body of officials. These were: Judges, Messrs. L. C. Kent, H. B. Speight, H. B. Burnett;
handicapper and starter, Mr. J. E. Fitt; tournament officials, Messrs. E. J, Hewitt and G. Peace.
Grafton won the Rupert C. Moore Memorial Cup for competition in the primary schools section with 22 points. Remuera was runner-up with 18 points. Following were ihe referees: Messrs. K. K.
