ADVERTISING EXHIBITION COMPETITIONS WINNERS Possessed o£ the pleasing: knowledge that the advertising exhibition .held recently in tire Town Hall, achieved every tiling it set out to do, the .Auckland Advertising Club may congratulate itself on work well done. As I:he Minister of Health, the Hon. j. a. Young, pointed out, the display I,'ad a big educative value, it showed not only the art of salesmanship, but the extent of the secondary productiveness of the country. The rise of advertising from a rather shady past to the full blaze of its present success, has been helped by the best brains and the best talents in the world. Auckland is undoubtedly wiser and moro understanding of many important things because of the ■ second annual exhibition of the club. The competitions arranged, window displays, poster displays, screen and advertising impersonations, were keenlv contested and in the advertising columns to-day the club names the winners of the trophies and prize
