IRISH GOLF TITLE. —The Irish open golf championship at Newcastle, County Down, was won by E. R. Whitcombe* with a score of 288 for the 72 holes. The other leading scores were: Compston. 232: Jolly, 236 Cotton, 293: Jack Smith, C. A. Whitcombe, Mitchell. 300.—A.P.A.-U.S.
