SERVICE CAR CAPSIZES
PASSENGERS HAVE NARROW ESCAPE YOUNG MAN CUT ON HEAD (From Our Ow7i Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. Sixteen passengers in a service car from New Plymouth had a narrow escape from serious injury when the car capsized between Ngaruawahia and Taupiri last evening. The car overturned owing to the wheels locking and the occupants were thrown out. A young man, Sydney Baker, of Cambridge, received a severe cut on the head necessitating four stitches being inserted. He was taken home in a car to Cambridge. The other passengers escaped practically unhurt.
