THAMES CARGO. —The Northern Company advises that, on account of Monday being a holiday, cargo for Thames may be left to-morrow or cn Tuesday next.

DEVON AT LONDON.—A cable message from the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Devon arrived at London on Monday from Wellington. The vessel left there on April 15 for London and Hull.

NIAGARA LEAVES VANCOUVER.— Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Niagara cleared Vancouver at noon on Wednesday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on June 18.

NORTHUMBERLAND FOR AUCKLAND.—The Federal Line’s steamer Northumberland, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, sailed from Panama on Wednesday. The vessel is due on June 19.

PORT NAPIER AT HALIFAX. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s steamer Port Napier, which left Auckland on April 18 for London, via New York and Halifax, arrived at Halifax on Wednesday.

PIAKO HOMEWARD BOUND. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Piako, en route from Auckland to London, arrived at Newport News on Wednesday. The vessel left Auckland on April 23.

PA KEH A AT LONDON.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Pakeha arrived at London on Saturday morning from Wellington. The vessel left there on April 14.

CALM DOCKED. The Canterbury Steamship Company's Calm was docked at Port Chalmers on Monday for repairs to her damaged plating and frames. The vessel struck the wall at the entrance of the Wanganui River on May 22.

HAURAKI LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. —The Union Company has received cabled advice that the Hauraki left San Francisco at 8 p.m. on Monday with Pacific Coast cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on June 18.

HERMINIUS AT LONDON.—A cable message to the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, reports that the Herminius arrived at London on Sunday evening from Wellington. The vessel left Wellington on April 17 for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain.

TEKOA LEAVES PANAMA.—CabIed advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Tekoa arrived at Panama on Saturday from London, and sailed again on Monday for Suva, and New Zealand ports. The vessel is expected to arrive at Auckland on June 20.

VALACIA LEAVES LIVERPOOL.— According to a cable message received by the C. and D. Lino its chartered steamer Valacia left Liverpool on Saturday with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland on July 8. Heather, Roberton and Co. will act as the local agents at Auckland.

DISMANTLING THE WAVERLEY. — The dismantling of the old coastal steamer Waver ley is now almost completed, states the “Dominion.” On Wednesday she was towed to the Railway Wharf, where her boiler and funnel were removed, and was then towed back to No. 9 Queen’s Wharf, where she has been lying for months past.

RIMUTAKA IN PORT.—The New’ Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rinrutaka arrived at Auckland this morning and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to complete her discharge of London cargo and to commence her loading for her return voyage. It is hoped to dispatch her from here on June 5 for New Plymouth, thence Wanganui. Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on June 27 for Southampton and London, via Panama.

TURAKINA FOR LONDON.—The New Zealand Shipping: Company advises that the steamer Turakina should leave Wellington this evening for London, via Panama.

HINEMOA'S MOVEMENTS. - Due at Suva to-day, Spedding, Ltd., has been advised that the Government steamer Hinemoa leaves there to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Friday, June S.

SYDNEY STEAMERS. The Maunganui and the Marama both leave Sydney at three o’clock this afternoon, the former vessel for Auckland and the latter for Wellington. Both steamers are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning.

IRON MONARCH SAILING. —After discharging a cargo of Newcastle coal at King’s Wharf for the New Zealand Government Railways, the Inter-State steamer Iron Monarch is to be dispatched from Auckland at four o’clock this afternoon for Newcastle.

WAIPAHi SAILS TO-MORROW.—Ef-forts are being made by the local office of the Union Company to dispatch the Island fruit steamer Waipahi from Auckland at noon to-morrow for Rarotonga, Atul, Mauke, Mangaia, and Aitutaki to load again for this port.

AORANGI LEAVES SYDNEY. Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi left Sydney at 4 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday morning. She is scheduled to clear here at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.

CLANSMAN FOR OVERHAUL. —The Northern Company’s steamer Clansman withdrew to-day from the AucklandRussell service for annual overhaul and survey. She will be replaced by the Ngapuhi, sailing at five o’clock on Tuesday evening next for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui.

I N DIANOLA REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by Henderson and Macfarlane, the tramp steamer Indianola is expected to arrive at Lyttelton on June 6. The vessel left Nauru Island on May 24 with a full load of phosphates for discharge at Lyttelton and Port Chalmers.

PI PI RI KI LEAVES NEW YORK.— Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Pipiriki left New York last Friday morning for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, in continuation of her voyage from Montreal and Sydney (C. 8.). The vessel is due at Auckland on June 30.

GAMBIA RIVER RADlOS.—Henderson and Macfarlane have received a radio message advising that the tramp steamer Gambia River is expected to arrive at Auckland next Tuesday from Makatea. The vessel is bringing a cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton.

OVERSEAS MAIL. —The chief postmaster advises that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, which left Sydney at 4 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, being due hero on June 4, has 600 bags of English, Eastern and Australian mail for this port.

The R.M.S. Tahiti, which is duo at Wellington from San Francisco on June 4, has 533 bags of English and American mail for Auckland.

RUAHINE FROM HOME. —An expected arrival at Wellington this afternoon is the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine from London and Southampton, via Panama. The vessel has passengers and mails for disembarkation at Wellington and cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Auckland. She is expected to arrive at Auckland on June 17.

MAUI POM ARE’S PROGRAMME.— Spedding Ltd. has been advised that the new Government motor-ship, 1 Maui Pomare, Which is due at Wellington tomorrow from Home, via Apia and Niue Island, leaves Wellington on Thursday, June 7, for Auckland. She is due here on June 9, and is now scheduled to sail from Auckland on Tuesday, June 12, for Niue Island and Samoa.

ORIENT LINE STEAMERS. The Union Company, as agents for the Orient Line, advise the following movements of its steamers:—The Orvieto, from London, via ports, is due at Sydney on June 7. The Orama, which left Sydney on May 2, is due at London on June 9. The Orsova, from Sydney, will leave Fremantle on June 4 for London, where she is due on July 5.

CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA.— Advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the steamer Kawatiri is due at Adelaide next Tuesday to commence her loading for New Zealand. She later fills up at Edithburg and Melbourne, and is expected to clear the latter port about June 12 for New Plymouth, Portland, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

HAUITI REPLACES WAIPU.- I The Northern Company’s steamer Waipu on arrival from Kerepeehi will be withdrawn from the Auckland-Kerepeehi service for annual overhaul and survey. She will be replaced by the Hauiti, which sails at noon on Tuesday next for Kerepeehi. The Daphne will replace the Hauiti, sailing at 1.45 p.m. to-morrow for Waiheke.
