WOMAN’S SUDDEN DEATH

COLLAPSE WHILE PREPARING MEAL

The death occurred suddenly at midday yesterday of Mrs. J. Whitten at her residence, East Tamaki Road. Papatoetoe. Airs. Whitten, assisted by her daughter, was preparing the midday meal, and when the girl did not get any response to an inquiry she made investigations, and found her mother in a state of collapse on the floor. Medical aid was called, but Dr. Rowley, of Otahuhu, could only pronounce life extinct.
