ASSISTING THE NEEDY
“EXHIBITION” AT TOWN HALL Never before has the Town Hall echoed to such revelry nor has it presented such a brilliant picture as at present, during the progress of the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour’s “advertising exhibition,” sale of goods, and cabaret, j This evening hundreds of bargains i ■will be for sale. The goods have been supplied for the most part by business firms of Auckland, and the proceeds from the sale will go towards Mr. Scrimgeour’s splendid work among the j distressed. Last evening the attendance was so large that it has been decided that this evening children not accompanied by their parents will not be admitted. There will be over 20 stalls, at which all kinds of bargains will be sold. Tearooms, side-shows and many other attractions -will gather in their hundreds of patrons. During the course of the evening there will be a number of concert and cabaret attractions. The Dentice Trio, , the celebrated dancers now at the i Regent Theatre, will contribute to the ■ entertainment.
