SETTLEMENT REACHED
CLAIM AND COUNTERCLAIM An agreement was reached late yesterday afternoon in the claim made by J. Wildridge and Sinclair (Mr. Anderson) for £226 12s 6d, against Radley and Co., fruit merchants (Mr. G. P. Finlay and Mr. Mackay). Defendants counterclaimed for £661 3s lid. When the case had proceeded for nearly two days and considerable evidence had been heard, the parties conferred, subsequently reporting to Mr. Justice Blair that a private settlement had been made.
