CRASH INTO TOW-ROPE
MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED SMOKE OBSCURES VIEW A young motor-cyclist, Ernest Allcock, who was injured at an accident at Waiuku yesterday morning, died in the Franklin Memorial Hospital early th*s morning. Mr. Allcock was on his way to the township when he ran into the tow line of a traction-engine which was drawing a stone-crusher into the main road, from a side road. He was thrown heavily to the ground, receiving severe internal injuries. His view was obscured by smoke from the engine. The young man, who was 19 years old, was the eldest son of Mr. T. Allcock, of Aka Aka, Waiuku.
