METAL ANCHORED IN HEAVY GOING

FAILS AT VICTORIA PARK NEXT OUTING AT RiCHMOND While being trained at Alexandra Park, the Don Pronto horse IMetal plainly disclosed the fact that he would not act in heavy going and as he competed under this adverse condition at Victoria Park on Monday it is not surprising that he suffered defeat. Gilmer), Prince Lupin (W. Rennie), Pouri (E. Warner), Cureaform (R. E. Thomson), Ruby Ring (Alister McDonald), and Pompeius (T. Chap-
