STRUCK ROCK AT PORT LINCOLN (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 11.0 a.m. ADELAIDE, To-day. The motor-ship Minnipa, of the Adelaide Steamship Company’s fleet, struck a rock off Port Lincoln in a heavy fog. The vessel is aground. Her passengers, numbering 160, have been safely transhipped. The Minnipa will probably float off without a tug. The Minnipa is a steel screw steamer or 1,600 tons. She was built in 1927 by Burmeistre and "Wain, of Copenhagen. She is fitted with oil engines, and is 252 ft long, 39ft broad and 22ft deep.
