HOTEL STABLES BURNED
NINE SHEEPDOGS KILLED Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. The large stables at the Makaraka Hotel were destroyed by fire last night. A drovers team of nine dogs, which had been left there for the night, were killed, attempts to rescue them being futile.
