WESTFIELD STOCK SALE BEEF MARKET STEADY j VEAL SLIGHTLY EASIER Values for good quality beef held at late rates at Westfield to-day. Values for light and medium finished cattle at times tended to be slightly easier. An average yarding of mostly light to medium weight cattle came forward. The offering was drawn from a more restricted field than usual at late Westfield sales. No worthwhile lines of steers came forward from the Bay of Plenty, while Northern graziers were not represented to any noteworthy extent. A noticeable feature was the erturn of lots on account of a number c*f the Letter known South Auckland graziers. Several lines of light to mediumframed, well finished, choice prime an account these vendors came forward. No extra prime big-framed steers were included in the offering.
