GOVERNMENT’S GIFT
NEW COUNCIL CHAMBERS TO CANTERBURY AND WESTLAND Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The gift by the Government of provincial council chambers to the provinces of Canterbury and Westland was announced by Sir Francis Bell at the jubilee luncheon to-day. The chambers will be controlled by a trust.
