AGO-TO-SLEEP GAME

Sometimes when you go to bed, you find yourself wishing it was morning so that you might get up and play. Here is a go-to-sleep game that makes the morning come very quickly. First you must close your eyes and keep them closed so that they can rest. Then you put your two thumbs to sleep. The palms of your hands are their little beds and you must tuck them into their beds and count ten very slowly. By the time you ha r e finished counting, they will be asleep, so be careful not to disturb them. Gently tuck your two first fingers over the thumbs while again you slowly count ten. Then count your two longest fingers to sleep and then the ones next to them. There will still be room in each bed for the sleepy heads of the shortest fingers. When all of your fingers are asleep, very quietly count your toes to sleep, starting with the two big toes. If you count very slowly and quietly with your eyes closed the morning will soon come and you will find your fingers ready to play and your toes ready to run.
