“QUALITY STREET” "Quality Street ” Sir James Barrie's sory, is now emg s own a the Prince Edward Theatre, with Marion Bowies in the leading role. The action of the story takes place in a quiet English town during the time of the Napoleonic wars. Pretty Phoebe Throssel, who lives in Quality Street with- her old maid sister, Susan, is in love with young Dr. Valentine Brown, and hourly expects him to deClare himself. V.B takes her to an al fresco dance and seems to be on the point of proposing when a sudden shower puts an end to the proceedings. As he carries her over the muddy road to her own side of the street, however, he kisses her, to the scandal of certain old maids who are always on the watch from behind their window curtains. The supporting pictuire is “The Bush Leaguer,’ starring Monte Blue, in a picture of baseball and love.
